Water and wind proof shell made of the same rip stop nylon as the rain jacket. It features pocket slits to allow access to your pants pockets underneath as well as velcro leg openings to allow your boots to pass through. Taking your boots off inthe rain to get your rain gear on is never a good thing, so leave them on!  The pouch pocket in the rain jacket is big enough to hold your rain pants as well.
